Penguins on the bus?
Mimes in a Phonebooth would have me running scared I have to admit.
Thanks for saving me from myself--I had to get that out of my system.
Actually, I have mimes on my mind because they creep me out and I ran across a reference to a mime in researching a story...
Penguins on the bus: from Fran.
Ooh, those evil penguins with antenna from Batman Returns! They could do anything. They'd do that belly sliding thing down the aisle, and possibly cough up regurgitated fish into handbags. Bus travelling penguins: the scourge of modern society.
Cows in a Field could also have a fear factor, after I encountered the Cow Mafia in Cornwall - a whole field of bullocks who were trying to beat up a fire engine that was passing through to a cliff fire. Later they lined up along the hedge and silently watched we walked by, staring with huge dark eyes full of malice. When you reached out a hand to these cows, instead of a friendly lick they took two steps back and twisted their heads as if to say "No, I mustn't, I mustn't. No more flesh today...blood..."

Gotta share this--I was sitting at lunch with some guys at a meeting, and one of them brought up "Snakes on The Plane". I waited for the chatter to die down and just simply said "Penguins on the Bus" and the whole table erupted in laughter. In fact, one of the guys nearly choked to death, which somehow made it even funnier.
After about a minute, I said quietly "I'm TIRED of all these PENGUUINS on the BUS!" More laughter.
Talk about the dumbest thing ever...
Sorry I'm not writing anything serious lately--I'm totally stressed out...
